Mela Amaiya specializes in Latin, African and Middle Eastern dance forms. Over the last 20 years, she has performed and taught nationally 
and studied internationally, including intensive Afro-Cuban and Cuban popular dance study with Master Dancers in Cuba and the US. She  recently completed her MA in Women's Spirituality and is currently dancing with the joy of motherhood, teaching, and performing both her own works and with the following companies: Afoutayi and Nago.

Class Description:
Salsa Suelta (Beginning/Intermediate Solo Moves)

Feel the music and free your body in this class - the ideal complement to partnering classes - focusing on developing your style, opening your torso, smoothing intricate footwork, and having the tools to do complex moves more easily while staying connected with your center and your partner. This is a perfect class for students of Cuban Style Salsa (Casino, Rueda De Casino, or beginners to Salsa), as it incorporates Cuban Rumba, Son, Mambo, Cha-Cha-Cha and Oricha 
movement.  Be a more solid dancer with or without a partner....feel the music, free your torso, develop your style, and move with sabor!!!

Fee: $12
